Hello, we're happy you are here.
Mountain Ridge Behavioral Health Center (MRBHC) was founded by Michael Haderlie, Ph.D. in 2020. Dr. Haderlie has worked in private practice since 2011, building a reputation for providing effective and compassionate therapy.
Dr. Haderlie founded Mountain Ridge Behavioral Health Center in Mapleton in order to further meet the needs of the residents of southern Utah County and the surrounding areas.
The Road to Healing
Begins Here
Learning effective coping strategies can help relieve pain and build tools to improve the quality of life in the long run.
OCD
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) isn’t about being “too careful” or “overthinking.”It’s a pattern where unwanted thoughts, images, or urges (obsessions) trigger intense anxiety — and compulsions develop as attempts to get relief.
Anxiety
Anxiety can make everyday life feel overwhelming—constant worry, racing thoughts, physical tension, or fear that won’t turn off. You don’t have to manage it alone. Therapy can help you understand your anxiety, reduce symptoms, and build tools that last.
Depression
Living with depression can feel isolating, exhausting, and overwhelming. You may find it hard to explain what you’re feeling, or you may worry that others won’t understand. Therapy offers a supportive space where you don’t have to carry these experiences alone.
We Can Help You Thrive
The practice operates under the belief that everyone has struggles and deserves access to effective and evidence-based psychological support.

MRBHC offers comprehensive services including outpatient psychotherapy and assessments for individuals, couples, and families, for anyone six years and older.
The providers and support staff at MRBHC are knowledgeable, compassionate, and dedicated to assisting our patients in getting access to the resources they need.
In 2024, Mountain Ridge Behavioral Health Center expanded the practice by opening a second location in Provo, Utah to provide more mental health support for the surrounding community. Adding this location has allowed the therapists at MRBHC to provide group therapy services to adolescents and adults.
